Another peaceful protest by members of the Shia muslims has turned awry in the northern part of Nigeria.
Part of the scenes of the protest in Kano Police have reportedly teargassed members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria a.k.a. Shi'ites who are currently staging a protest in Kano over the continued detention of their leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky in the custody of the Directorate of State Security, DSS.
The same protest is also holding in Gombe state according to reports.
Some Shi'ite members collapsed during the physical exercise as the group remains resilient to free its incacerated leader who has been in the custody of security operatives since last year.
